{"id":16543,"date":"2017-02-02T09:52:27","date_gmt":"2017-02-02T09:52:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=16543"},"modified":"2017-02-02T09:52:28","modified_gmt":"2017-02-02T09:52:28","slug":"picture-in-time-blackpool-omo-1-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=16543","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Blackpool OMO 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The very first of the One Man Operated trams is the feature of today\u2019s Picture in Time as we take a look at the Plum and Custard liveried no. <strong>1<\/strong> in 1973.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><strong>1<\/strong>\u2019s life as an OMO started in October 1972 when it became one of the second of the class to enter service (no. <strong>2<\/strong> was used a week earlier) following its conversion from <strong>English Electric Railcoach 616<\/strong>.
