{"id":16355,"date":"2017-01-16T18:24:47","date_gmt":"2017-01-16T18:24:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=16355"},"modified":"2017-01-16T18:24:47","modified_gmt":"2017-01-16T18:24:47","slug":"in-pictures-edinburgh-trams-251-tramspotting-livery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=16355","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Edinburgh Trams 251 #Tramspotting livery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As we reported at the weekend the arrival of vinyl wraps in Edinburgh is continuing with a new livery being revealed in connection with Edinburgh Trams\u2019 #Tramspotting campaign (inspired by the forthcoming release of the new film T2 Trainspotting which features the trams in several scenes). However unlike our presumptions that these would be carried by <strong>261<\/strong> to replace the vinyls for Hogmanay it is in fact <strong>251<\/strong> which is the #Tramspotting tram.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->As with <strong>261<\/strong> the main bodyside vinyls on <strong>251 <\/strong>are carried on the third and fifth sections of the tram with images of trams on the windows along with the service frequency of every 7 minutes. It also encourages prospective passengers to Choose More Trams, More Often or just plain Chose Edinburgh Trams (taking its inspiration from the film\u2019s famous tagline).
