No Docklands Light Railway services will stop at Custom House from Friday 3rd February until December to allow for major construction works in connection with Crossrail to take place. Normal DLR services will run through the station but passengers will be unable to board or alight.<\/p>\n
The work will include taking down the existing station canopies and the installation of a new mezzanine deck above the DLR platforms, as well as two additional staircases. Capacity at the station will be increased by 50% and will allow for passengers to interchange easily with the new Elizabeth Line \u2013 as Crossrail will be known \u2013 services from December 2018.<\/p>\n
