A series of drop-in sessions are to be run to allow the public to find out more about the Trafford Park Manchester Metrolink extension ahead of the start of construction this year. The first enabling and utility works are due to commence next week on the 3.4 mile line which will leave the current Metrolink network at Pomona.<\/p>\n
Peter Cushing, TfGM Metrolink Director, said: \u201cKeeping people informed about our work to expand the tram network has been key to Metrolink\u2019s success. \u201cWe\u2019re committed to keeping businesses, residents, employees, commuters and visitors to the area up-to-date at every stage of the work to build a new line through Trafford Park to the Trafford Centre.\u201d<\/p>\n
Drop-in sessions will take place as follows:<\/p>\n
Tuesday 10th January 1000-1630 \u2013 Imperial War Museum North<\/p>\n
Wednesday 11th January 1000-1630 \u2013 MediaCityUK<\/p>\n
Friday 13th January 1000-2200 \u2013 intu Trafford Centre<\/p>\n
Saturday 14th January 1000-2100 \u2013 into Trafford Centre<\/p>\n
