Monday 2nd January 2017 will see the introduction of new fares for Midland Metro and although the cost of off-peak travel (including the day ticket), the city hop fare and group daysavers will not see a change there will be increases on single and return fares.<\/p>\n
The new basic fares with effect from 2nd January are as follows:<\/p>\n
Adult Single (Stage 1) – \u00a32.60 (from \u00a32.50)<\/p>\n
Adult Single (Stage 2) – \u00a33.20 (from \u00a33.10)<\/p>\n
Adult Single (Stage 3) – \u00a34.10 (from \u00a34.00)<\/p>\n
Birmingham City Hop – \u00a31 (no change)<\/p>\n
Wolverhampton City Hop – \u00a31 (no change)<\/p>\n
Adult Day Return (Stage 1) – \u00a33.10 (from \u00a33.00)<\/p>\n
Adult Day Return (Stage 2) – \u00a35.30 (from \u00a35.10)<\/p>\n
Adult Day Return (Stage 3) – \u00a36.50 (from \u00a36.30)<\/p>\n
Adult Off Peak day ticket (Stage 1) – \u00a33.00 (no change)<\/p>\n
Adult Off Peak day ticket (Stage 2) – \u00a34.50 (no change)<\/p>\n
Adult Off Peak day ticket (Stage 3) – \u00a35.00 (no change)<\/p>\n
Adult Day ticket – \u00a36.50 (was \u00a36.30)<\/p>\n
Adult Off Peak day ticket – \u00a35.00 (no change)<\/p>\n
Child fares remain half the equivalent adult price and all day tickets are cheaper using Swift Pay as you Go.
