{"id":15152,"date":"2016-08-12T22:00:12","date_gmt":"2016-08-12T21:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=15152"},"modified":"2016-08-12T22:00:12","modified_gmt":"2016-08-12T21:00:12","slug":"net-delays-after-protest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=15152","title":{"rendered":"NET delays after protest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nottingham Express Transit services were severely delayed on Friday 5th August after a group of protestors blocked the tram tracks in the city centre causing the service to initially be suspended between Royal Centre and Old Market Square and then later as far as Nottingham Station. The situation continued to change as the morning progressed and eventually the Phoenix Park route was amended so trams were only running as far as Highbury Vale. The protestors laid on the tracks protesting under the Black Lives Matter banner and were also apparently planning to \u201cshutdown Nottingham\u201d.
