{"id":14218,"date":"2016-03-27T10:27:03","date_gmt":"2016-03-27T09:27:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=14218"},"modified":"2016-03-27T10:27:03","modified_gmt":"2016-03-27T09:27:03","slug":"picture-in-time-croydon-tramlink-2545","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=14218","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Croydon Tramlink 2545"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Back to a still image for today\u2019s Picture in Time as we head to Croydon for a view of one of the original trams during the testing and commissioning process in 1999.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The tram in the frame is <strong>2545<\/strong> which had been delivered to Therapia Lane on Monday 15th March 1999 and is seen here just a few weeks later on 9th April 1999. It is passing the site of the Wandle Park stop \u2013 which is still under construction at this point.
