{"id":14187,"date":"2016-03-25T15:42:10","date_gmt":"2016-03-25T14:42:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=14187"},"modified":"2016-03-25T15:42:10","modified_gmt":"2016-03-25T14:42:10","slug":"blackpool-gets-ready-for-easter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=14187","title":{"rendered":"Blackpool gets ready for Easter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This Easter weekend sees the return of the Gold timetable for Blackpool\u2019s Heritage Tram Tours between Saturday 26th and Monday 28th March and there is also a bonus heritage service on Friday 25th March \u2013 including evening runs to Fleetwood.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The following services are due to run this weekend:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Friday 25th March<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Blue timetable (2 trams) running mainly between Pleasure Beach and Tower\/North Pier (with some journeys extended to Cabin) from 1300 to 1700<\/p>\n<p>Special evening tours to Fleetwood (using 2 trams) departing Tower\/North Pier at 1810 and 1825<\/p>\n<p>Trams in use: <strong>Boat 227<\/strong> and <strong>Balloon 715<\/strong> (daytime), <strong>Brush 631<\/strong> and <strong>Twin Car 675+685<\/strong> (evening)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Saturday 26th March<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Gold timetable with 7 trams in use \u2013 6 of these will run according to the published timetable with the seventh operating on an ad hoc basis<\/p>\n<p>Planned trams: <strong>Box 40<\/strong>, <strong>Brush 631<\/strong>, <strong>Railcoach 680<\/strong>, <strong>Twin Car 272+T2<\/strong>, Balloons <strong>701<\/strong>, <strong>715<\/strong> and <strong>717<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Sunday 27th March<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Gold timetable with 7 trams in use \u2013 6 of these will run according to the published timetable with the seventh operating on an ad hoc basis. This day will include the previously announced first run of <strong>Marton Box 31<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Planned trams: <strong>Marton Box 31<\/strong>, <strong>Bolton 66<\/strong>, <strong>Twin Car 675+685<\/strong>, <strong>Brush 631<\/strong>, Balloons <strong>701<\/strong>, <strong>715<\/strong>, <strong>717<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Monday 28th March<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Gold timetable with 7 trams in use \u2013 6 of these will run according to the published timetable with the seventh operating on an ad hoc basis.<\/p>\n<p>Planned trams: <strong>Marton Box 31<\/strong>, <strong>Box 40<\/strong>, <strong>Railcoach 680<\/strong>, <strong>Twin Car 272+T2<\/strong>, Balloons <strong>701<\/strong>, <strong>715<\/strong>, <strong>717<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As always the above trams are planned to be used subject to the usual caveats.
