This footage dates from the 1960s and shows the early years at what we now know as the Crich Tramway Village.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->This fascinating footage &#8211; originally taken on cine film &#8211; extensively features resident steam tram <strong>John Bull<\/strong> hauling horse car <strong>Oporto 9<\/strong> up and down the line, hopefully we may see a steam tram in action at Crich once again? Other interesting footage shows <strong>Blackpool Standard 49<\/strong> running in the red livery whilst we also see <strong>Blackpool &amp; Fleetwood Box 40<\/strong> in operation at Crich as well as fellow Blackpool &amp; Fleetwood car <strong>Rack 2<\/strong> (still with destination boxes in place). <strong>Leeds 602<\/strong> is also seen in action &#8211; seemingly in the middle of a repaint &#8211; and there are also some old favourites such as <strong>Glasgow 812<\/strong> and <strong>Southampton 45<\/strong> shown in service.
