{"id":13966,"date":"2016-03-02T20:01:49","date_gmt":"2016-03-02T19:01:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=13966"},"modified":"2016-03-02T20:01:50","modified_gmt":"2016-03-02T19:01:50","slug":"picture-in-time-blackpool-brush-634-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=13966","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Blackpool Brush 634"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last time we were in Blackpool for Picture in Time we featured <strong>Brush Railcoach 634<\/strong> in 1972 and it is the same tram which we take a look at again today; this time we are in 2009 and it is about to depart Blackpool for what we all presumed would be forever\u2026<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><strong>634<\/strong> is pretty unique in that it was acquired by a private individual when enthusiast Andy Ashton took on the task of restoring the tram and it became the first of the trams sold as a result of the impending upgrade of the tramway to actually depart Blackpool for its new life.
