{"id":1341,"date":"2012-07-15T09:08:31","date_gmt":"2012-07-15T09:08:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=1341"},"modified":"2012-07-15T09:08:31","modified_gmt":"2012-07-15T09:08:31","slug":"seaton-hit-by-the-weather","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=1341","title":{"rendered":"Seaton hit by the weather"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The unseasonable heavy rain which has been afflicting much of the UK in this so-called summer in 2012 claimed another victim last weekend\u00a0 when flooding meant the Seaton<br \/>\nTramway were unable to operate a full service.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Seaton\u2019s problems started on Saturday 7<sup>th<\/sup> July when the heavy rain flooded a section of the track between Colyford and Colyton, causing some ballast to be washed away. This meant that from the start of service on that day a limited service only could be offered to passengers from Seaton terminus to Colyford.<\/p>\n<p>The repairs to the section of track which had lost the ballast continued for the next few days with the limited service in operation until the end of Tuesday 10<sup>th<\/sup> July.
