{"id":1229,"date":"2012-06-28T19:33:50","date_gmt":"2012-06-28T19:33:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=1229"},"modified":"2012-06-28T19:33:50","modified_gmt":"2012-06-28T19:33:50","slug":"in-pictures-variotram-2554-and-its-croydon-livery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=1229","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Variotram 2554 and its Croydon livery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A couple of days ago we reported that new Variotram <strong>2554<\/strong> had received a special vinyl wrap livery for Croydon in time for the launch of the new line 4 at the start of this week and made an attempt to describe it (which wasn\u2019t a particularly easy task!) Now we don\u2019t need to describe it anymore as we have been provided with a couple of photos of the tram at work in Croydon.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The reason that <strong>2554<\/strong> has received this special livery is because Croydon Council provided funding towards the acquisition of the six new trams which have enabled Tramlink to provide the extra services on line 4.
