Yes that\u2019s right it\u2019s our regular round-up of when and where you can enjoy a ride on a traditional tram within the British Isles. Highlight of the next week or so looks set to be on the Isle of Man where the annual Manx Heritage Transport Festival takes place between 29th July and 2nd July with the MER featuring heavily during the event. But that isn\u2019t all that is on offer this week as with the School holidays in full swing Blackpool starts daily operation until the start of September (unbroken service commences Saturday 25th July) and the Birkenhead Heritage Tramway and East Anglia Transport Museum are also operating on more days for the next few weeks.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Beamish: The Living Museum of the North<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Current Status: Open daily from 1000 to 1700.<\/p>\n<p>More info @\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.beamish.org.uk\/\">http:\/\/www.beamish.org.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Birkenhead Heritage Tramway<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Current Status: Operates every Wednesday to Sunday between 1300 and 1700 until the end of the summer school holidays. Also operates on August bank holiday Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Timetable in operation: Trams depart Taylor Street every half hour between 1250 and 1620 returning from Woodside between 1305 and 1635 using 1 tram.<\/p>\n<p>Next Special Event: Superhero Day \u2013 Saturday 15th August<\/p>\n<p>More info @\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mtps.co.uk\/\">http:\/\/www.mtps.co.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Black Country Living Museum<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Current Status: Open daily 1000 to 1700.<\/p>\n<p>The tramway is now partly open with a service running between the tram depot and mine.
