{"id":11704,"date":"2015-06-30T20:04:13","date_gmt":"2015-06-30T19:04:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=11704"},"modified":"2015-06-30T20:04:13","modified_gmt":"2015-06-30T19:04:13","slug":"picture-in-time-manx-electric-railway-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=11704","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Manx Electric Railway 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today \u201cPicture in Time\u201d is heading across the Irish Sea again and finds itself on the Isle of Man for a view of one of the original two trams still in existence \u2013 no. <strong>2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The main subject of our image is 1893 built tram no. 2 which along with still in existence no. <strong>1<\/strong> and the Laxey fire of 1930 victim no. <strong>3<\/strong> was built by G F Milnes for the opening of the line between Derby Castle and Groudle in the same year.
