{"id":1100,"date":"2012-06-09T14:05:59","date_gmt":"2012-06-09T14:05:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=1100"},"modified":"2012-06-09T14:05:59","modified_gmt":"2012-06-09T14:05:59","slug":"flexity2-015-arrives-in-blackpool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=1100","title":{"rendered":"Flexity2 015 arrives in Blackpool"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Less than a day after the latest delivery of a new tram to Croydon it was the turn of\u00a0 Blackpool to be receiving a delivery with <strong>015 <\/strong>becoming the penultimate Flexity2 to be in the resort. <strong>015 <\/strong>arrived during the afternoon of Friday 8<sup>th<\/sup> June having travelled the now well worn route across from Hull to Blackpool.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>With <strong>015 <\/strong>now having arrived there are fourteen of the sixteen Flexity2 trams in Blackpool with just <strong>016<\/strong> not having yet arrived in the UK. In addition <strong>002<\/strong> is back in Germany having<br \/>\nbeen a return load for <strong>014<\/strong> to allow\u00a0Bombardier to undertake some rectification work under warranty.<\/p>\n<p>Of those Flexities in Blackpool <strong>001<\/strong> is currently out of service in the Workshops at Starr Gate depot where it is receiving modifications whilst <strong>003 <\/strong>to <strong>014<\/strong> are regularly out on the Prom, either in service or on Driver Training.<\/p>\n<p>On 1<sup>st <\/sup>July it is planned that the promised 10 minute frequency between Starr Gate and<br \/>\nFleetwood Ferry will be introduced so these extra Flexity trams will be required to provide this service.
