{"id":10349,"date":"2015-02-17T19:48:20","date_gmt":"2015-02-17T19:48:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=10349"},"modified":"2015-02-17T19:48:20","modified_gmt":"2015-02-17T19:48:20","slug":"picture-in-time-leeds-155","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=10349","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Leeds 155"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today\u2019s archive image in the \u201cPicture in Time\u201d series comes from Leeds from way back on 8th November 1958 and shows Horsfield car <strong>155<\/strong> \u2013 the first production car of this famous class of trams.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Entering service during 1931 <strong>155<\/strong> was built by Brush of Loughborough (the four prototype cars had been built internally by Leeds Corporation Transport) and gave 28 years of service to Leeds before the complete system was closed on 7th November 1959.
