On 5th September 2005 we are at Tower where 646 has not long terminated with a special and now waits for its destination blind to be turned and for it to embark on its next journey. 646 has a long association with Paul Gaunt Furniture with four consecutive adverts between July 2001 and November 2011 (when withdrawal for the tram came). This was the second version of the advert which lasted between March 2004 and February 2007. After withdrawal the tram was sold and was stored at Paul Gaunt's premises but subsequently became the very first of the class to be scrapped.
