Since the launch of 08 as the “pink tram” back on 27th July £115.32 has been raised (up until 4th September) by the collecting tins located on the tram. This has now been sent to Breast Cancer Care and the tins are to remain on the tram to continue this fundraising.
Gemini FM are to hold an “In The Pink” day on Friday 19th October as part of Breast Cancer Care’s official fundraising day. The day will start at 11am with an official press call followed at 1120 with a departure from Seaton on the “pink tram”. Then after arrival at Colyton there will be a Pink Tea Party in the Tramstop Restaurant before arriving back at Seaton at approximately 1400.
The Seaton Tramway and Gemini FM are looking for people who deserve to be VIP guests at the tea party. It could be a family member, friend or colleague who has raised a lot for cancer charities or someone who has battled the disease. Full details are available here
Seaton have also announced that bookings are now open for both Santa Specials and the Halloween Tram of Terror. Follow the links above for more details and how to book.
