SEATON END OF SEASON GALA DETAILS RELEASED
Seaton Tramway – Sunday 12th October 2008

Full details have been released by the Seaton Tramway of their End of Season Gala taking place on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October 2008.

Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October
* 3 car service 1000-1700 on Saturday 25th October
* 3 car service 1100-1600 on Sunday 26th October
* PLUS Service Extras and Short Workings to Colyford
* Enjoy Tram Driving Experience – a scaled down version of the popular Tram Driving Lessons. The tram will run from Colyton to Colyford. A one way drive costs £5, £10 for the return (pay instructor on the tram). Departures from Colyton at 1030, 1110, 1150, 1230, 1310, 1350, 1430, 1510, 1550* & 1630*. First come first served! * Saturday only.
* Guided Tours of Riverside Depot – depart Seaton Terminus at 1046, 1146 & 1406. A 50 minute tour around the depot.
* Works Car 02 – will be around and about with the “Bucket Wagon” for demonstrations of tram towing and overhead maintenance.

Sunday 26th October Only
* Grand Cavalcade – 0930: every available tram departing Seaton at 2 minute intervals – one off photocall at Colyton at 1015 – first time that all the trams gathered together at Colyton since Millennium Parade
* Photography Special – weather permitting – 1200 Seaton ahead of Service Car, returns by 1500 – film for lineside location.
* View the Tram “Run In” 1600 at Riverside Depot

All features included for Rover Ticket Holders: Adult £12.50, Concessions £11.25 and Child (3-14) £8.75.

British Trams Online will have extensive coverage from one of the day’s events (probably the Saturday) at the end of October/beginning of November.
