NEW LIVERY REVEALED ON TRAMLINK 2552
London Tramlink – Sunday 12th October 2008

The brand new livery for London (formerly Croydon but now officially changed) Tramlink was revealed this week on 2552 at the Therapia Lane depot. The tram is finished in lime green, blue and white and all trams are now expected to receive the livery over the next few months. All tram stops are also currently receiving attention with amongst other activities painting taking place. Click below to view a photo of the new look tram.

The new livery on 2552 shown in all its glory approaching Arena from Beckenham Junction. Although the lime green is the colour of the Tramlink "roundel" you can't help but think it is a little bit too light, especially in a livery that also contains a large amount of white - it may look good in the first week of operation but what will it look like months down the line? Having said that the livery is actually growing on me and certainly adds a little bit of brightness to Croydon, sorry London Tramlink.

British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email.
