DON’T MISS IT! SEATON END OF SEASON GALA 27TH & 28TH OCTOBER
Nottingham Express Transit – Sunday 14th October 2007

The Seaton Tramway’s End of Season Gala takes place over the weekend of Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October and includes an intensive tram service amongst other events:

Saturday 28th October:
* 3-Car Service 1000 – 1700 PLUS Special Short Workings
* Enjoy a Tram Driving Experience with a scaled-down version of the Tram Driving Lessons. The tram will run from Colyton to Colyford. A one-way drive costs £5, £10 for the return (pay the instructor on the tram). Departures from Colyton at 1030, 1110, 1150, 1230, 1310, 1350, 1430, 1510, 1550 & 1630. First come first served!
* Guided Tours of Riverside Depot and Tram 15. Departing Seaton Terminus at 1106, 1206 & 1406. A 50-minute tour around Riverside Depot, which will also include a Memorabilia Stall, informative displays, a chance to go “down the pit” under a tram. Inspect Tram 15 before restoration commences. Quite what tram 15 is I don’t know as all the Seaton fleet lists I can find make no mention of there having been a tram numbered 15!
* Works Car 02 will be around and about with the “Bucket Wagon” for demonstrations of tram towing and overhead maintenance.

Sunday 29th October:
* 3-Car Service 1000–1600 PLUS Special Short Workings

* Photography Special. Weather permitting. 1200 Seaton ahead of service car. Returns by 1500. Film for lineside location.

All the days events (with the exception of the tram driving trips and a Bird Watching Trip at 1700 on the Saturday) are included in the price of a Rover Ticket: Adults - £11.95, Senior Citizen - £10.75, Children (aged 4-14) - £8.35. In addition Seaton Tramway shops will be offering 10% off all stock (excluding items already half price)
