Bus+ Metro tickets now available on the My Metro app

Anyone who travels on the West Midlands Metro and local bus services are now able to buy joint tickets on the My Metro app, making it quicker and easier to travel around the local area. Since its launch the app has proved to be popular with travellers on the Metro network to purchase their tickets for travel, especially in Covid times as it reduces the need to buy tickets from the conductors on board the trams.

Two types of bus and tram ticket are now available on the My Metro App: National Express Bus+ Metro tickets (available only on National Express buses and the West Midlands Metro) and nbus+ Metro tickets (available on all buses in the West Midlands network area and all tram services).

The National Express Bus+ ticket is available as an off-peak day, 7 day and 28 day ticket with the nbus+ Metro ticket just available as either 7 days or 28 days.

The My Metro App is free to download from either the App store or Google Play.

Possibly not the best timing for this article as there are no Metro services currently but when they’re back you will be able to!
