For the third year in a row there will be the spectacle of all operational illuminated feature cars parading through the illuminations in Blackpool as the Lightpool Illuminated Tram Parade again takes place. The date for your diaries this year is Thursday 24th October and, subject to availability, the Western Train, Frigate and Trawler should all be taking part.
Boarding at Pleasure Beach from 1700 the parade will start off at 1745 heading north to Little Bispham and then back to Pleasure Beach. As the parade approaches Blackpool Tower it will visibly slow to allow for photographs for those not lucky enough to travel on board. It is expected the trams will be back at Pleasure Beach by 1900.
To travel on the trams during the Parade pre-booking is required with limited tickets available. Tickets for the Parade only are priced at £10 for adults, £5 for children with a family ticket available for £25 (2 adults, 2 children or 1 adult, 3 children).
