COULDSON-STREATHAM TRAMLINK LINE IN TWO YEARS? Steve O’Connell – Croydon and Sutton’s new member of the Greater London Assembly – has said that the proposed extension to the Croydon Tramlink system between Coulsdon and Streatham could be given the go-ahead within two years.
Mr O’Connell is a Conservative and he believes that this will help him persuade new Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, to give the plan the go-ahead.
He said: “It could happen in a couple of years. It's a priority for me and trams are clearly a great success in Croydon."

| British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email. |
