CHEAPER WEEKLY TRAVEL TO CELEBRATE SIX YEARS OF NET To mark the occasion of NET’s sixth birthday customers are being offered discounted weekly tickets as a thank you for making the tram so successful. Between 1st and 31st March the Weekly Ticket will be reduced from £12 to £10 – a saving of almost 17%.
Anthony Carver-Smith, Marketing Manager, said: ““It’s nearly 6 years since the tram carried its first passenger and with trams gliding easily in and out of the City Centre up to every 5 minutes at the busiest times, it’s hardly surprising the tram has been so popular and clocks up 10 million passenger journeys a year. You can’t have a birthday without presents and a saving of nearly 17% on weekly tram travel is a great gift for our loyal users.”

| British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email. |
