MANCHESTER METROLINK NEWS ROUND-UP 1012, 1015 and 1023 have all been noted with the orange LED destination displays installed as has 1021 which has also received CCTV displays instead of external mirrors and coupler guides for universal running.
3009 was noted in service on the Bury to Altrincham direct route on Thursday 25th February 2010.
The new ticket machines at Victoria, Shudehill, Market Street and Mosley Street were bought into the service from 22nd February 2010. The new machines are also in the process of being installed at various stops on the Bury line. They are all being installed on the platforms, whereas the original ticket machines were mostly sited in the entrance vestibules at street level.
