REPAINTS IN BLACKPOOL Repaints are now taking place in Blackpool as the start of the 2008 season nears. Already undergone attention this winter have been Balloons 711 (Metro Coastlines Dark Green & Yellow) and 717 (original Green & Cream) and now further Balloons are seeing attention.
713 and 723 are currently in the Paint Shop receiving Metro Coastlines Light Blue & Yellow and 1980s Green & Cream respectively and they are expected to be followed by 715 (Metro Coastlines Blue & Yellow) and 718 (Metro Coastlines Fuchsia & Yellow). This will eliminate the plain liveried Balloons.
Blackpool Trams.info also report that Railcoach 680 is to receive a new all over advert for The Joey Blower Show at the Merrie England Showbar, North Pier whilst a number of advertising contracts have now expired.
Further details on the repaints and all the latest news can be found on the Blackpool Trams.info website – details on how to subscribe here.

| British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email. |
