The deadline is approaching fast – and the work is also seeing rapid progress, but will the contractors be handing over the tramway in time (Monday 17th March is needed for drivers to be refreshed on driving trams)? Read on to find out the latest progress.

Pleasure Beach:
There are two lengths to surface at South Pier and the pavements to finish. The overhead has virtually been completed.

Gynn Square to Norbreck:
The southbound track is now in place from Cabin to just north of Cavendish Road. Bispham crossover is now in place at roughly the same spot of where the south crossover used to be. The northbound line is now in place from midway between Madison Avenue and Leyburn Avenue to Norbreck and the sleepers are in place south to Bispham. Track has been laid outside Bispham station. The joining section at Gynn Square has been cleared for new track and more top surfacing has been done between Gynn Square and Cabin.

British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email.
