Notes:
Although a number of these trams remain at Rigby Road Depot and are still serviceable none are expected to see use on the upgraded tramway for the forseeable future. Those at Rigby Road are expected to remain there for the time being whilst the LTT progress their plans for a heritage centre at Thornton Gate.
Brush Car 622 is owned by Totally Transport CIC and are not considered preserved by the LTT.
Standard 143 returned to Brinwell Road for its stalled restoration to continue and be completed on 20th April 2012. The trucks and motors for this tram have kindly been donated by Blackpool Transport.
Boat 233 went on loan to Beamish the Living Museum of the North at the start of March 2012 for an initial two year period. The tram has been repainted at Beamish thanks to sponsorship from British Trams Online and entered service for the first time on 12th April 2012.
Railcoach 279 is undergoing restoration work at the LTT's Brinwell Road workshops. This work will return the tram to "pointed" Railcoach style having been rebuilt in the 1960s as a Towing Car although it was never permanently attached to its trailer.
Brush 287 has undergone limited work at Rigby Road where it remains stored. This tram spent many years as part of the Works fleet and as such retains many original features.
Twin Motor Car 671 was originally acquired by Merseytravel (along with its trailer 681) but the LTT arranged a swap which saw Twin Trailer Car 687 and Brush 637 go to Merseytravel instead.
Balloon 703 is on a minimum 5 year loan at the Beamish Open Air Museum in County Durham and has been repainted in Sunderland Red and White with a new identity as Sunderland 101.
Plans are currently progressing between the LTT and Blackpool Council's Illuminations Department to restore Rocket 732 for static display at the 2012 Illuminations. This would involve the iconic tram leaving Rigby Road to the Illuminations Depot where the work would be undertaken before 732 is displayed somewhere on Blackpool Prom during the Illuminations.

British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email.
