LED MATRIX DISPLAY FITTED TO METROLINK 1010
Manchester Metrolink – Sunday 22nd June 2008

Metrolink 1010 has become the first of the First Series trams to be fitted with orange LED Matrix destination displays, replacing the traditional roller blinds. Internally the tram has also been fitted with matrix displays showing the name of the next stop.


1010 is shown here leaving Radcliffe station on its way to Bury, with its destination already changed for its return journey on 20th June 2008.
