The latest progress on the major trackwork being undertaken on the Blackpool and Fleetwood Tramway:

The point to access the new inner loop from the outer loop is now in position approximately one to one and a half tram lengths from the southbound line. Other preformed sections and pre-curved rail are in the proximity waiting to be fitted.

The points and diamonds have now been delivered although not yet fitted.

Gynn Square to Norbreck:
Recent progress has been concentrated on rail welding at Cliffs Hotel, work on the Bispham “loop” and excavation of the Bispham to Haddon Road trackbed.

Little Bispham:
The majority of the southbound line is now in place with temporary plain track in the area where the entry to the loop will be.

British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email.
