MIDLAND METRO NEWS ROUND-UP * Railgrinding took place in early December over four nights. Midland Metro undertook the work as part of their regular maintenance programme and the section between Priestfield and Wolverhampton St Georges was the main concentration as this area suffers the most. Passengers have often contacted the company to mention the loud noise trams make in this area. The operation was successful and a smoother and quieter ride is now being experienced by all passengers in this area.
* The November performance of Midland dipped down to 94.3% of services operating in accordance with the published timetable. This reduction in performance has mainly been put down to the planned closure of the line between Black Lake and Birmingham Snow Hill on two Sundays during the month.

| British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email. |
