Seaton End of Season Gala October 2007
Making its British Trams Online debut is the unique Seaton Tramway - which runs at a gauge of 2'9". All these photos were taken on Day One of the two day 2007 End of Season Gala on 27th October 2007 when most trams - including the works car - make appearances with an extensive service operated as well as behind the scenes tours of the depot. This enabled views of current overhaul tram number 7 as well as those trams not in use on the day and also out the back of the depot a possible Seaton 15 - an unrestored Bournemouth 101. Not in public service on the day was 10 was initially used for a Private Hire between Seaton and Colyton. The tram is seen here at the Riverside loop.
10 is seen here at Colyton having arrived with its Private Hire and carries a livery based on Glasgow's distinctive orange, green and cream.
With the light rapidly fading at the end of the day and a few hardy souls on top 10 waits at Seaton ready to run a Bird Watching Trip.
