Seaton End of Season Gala October 2007
Making its British Trams Online debut is the unique Seaton Tramway - which runs at a gauge of 2'9". All these photos were taken on Day One of the two day 2007 End of Season Gala on 27th October 2007 when most trams - including the works car - make appearances with an extensive service operated as well as behind the scenes tours of the depot. This enabled views of current overhaul tram number 7 as well as those trams not in use on the day and also out the back of the depot a possible Seaton 15 - an unrestored Bournemouth 101. The first of the three brand new trams built by Bolton Trams in 2002 is 9. This image shows the tram at Colyton.
The livery carried by 9 is based upon that carried by Birmingham's trams. The tram is seen here having just arrived at Seaton from Colyton.
The design of the new trams uses elements from Plymouth and Blackburn trams as seen here on 9 at Colyford.
