Seaton End of Season Gala October 2007
Making its British Trams Online debut is the unique Seaton Tramway - which runs at a gauge of 2'9". All these photos were taken on Day One of the two day 2007 End of Season Gala on 27th October 2007 when most trams - including the works car - make appearances with an extensive service operated as well as behind the scenes tours of the depot. This enabled views of current overhaul tram number 7 as well as those trams not in use on the day and also out the back of the depot a possible Seaton 15 - an unrestored Bournemouth 101. Over the next 16 pages there are 47 photos for you - I hope - to enjoy. As ever you can access the photos by using the links at either the top or bottom of the page.

The program for the End of Season Gala mentioned a mysterious tram 15 - well this is it! It is currently Bournemouth 101 which has been in use as a caravan in Dorset since withdrawal. Seaton have been aware of its existence for a while but in September were informed they would have to remove it if wished to have it - this they did and it is currently stored out the back of the depot. It is planned this will be the next project and could be up and running in the next five years.
An end on view of the tram. Note that one side is painted yellow.
And a final view of the inside of the tram which still retains the ornate quarter light glass.
