Seaton End of Season Gala October 2007
Making its British Trams Online debut is the unique Seaton Tramway - which runs at a gauge of 2'9". All these photos were taken on Day One of the two day 2007 End of Season Gala on 27th October 2007 when most trams - including the works car - make appearances with an extensive service operated as well as behind the scenes tours of the depot. This enabled views of current overhaul tram number 7 as well as those trams not in use on the day and also out the back of the depot a possible Seaton 15 - an unrestored Bournemouth 101. Another "real" tram is 16. The tram was originally Bournemouth 106 and was a 3'6" open topper. Seaton obtained the tram in 1974 before remodelling and rebuilding her in 1992. The tram is seen here at Colyton.

16 was used throughout the day for Driving Experience trips. At just £5 for a single trip you could drive the tram from Colyton to Colyford. This image shows the tram at Colyton.
