Blackpool & Fleetwood Tramway Double-Deckers September 2007
As usual in the first week of September, British Trams Online webmaster Gareth Prior was in Blackpool for the sights and sounds of the Blackpool & Fleetwood Tramway. Over the next eight pages are images of the double-decker trams in the fleet during the week. There are 22 photos in this gallery this does not include trams such as Standard 147 and Bolton 66 as they are classed as "other trams" as they are more special than the Balloons and Jubilees listed here. (As ever you can access the photos by using the links at either the top or bottom of the page)

Current star of the double deck fleet is Balloon 700 which has been restored to 1940s condition featuring double indicators. The tram also carries the Wartime Green & Cream livery as seen in this Manchester Square view on 8th September 2007.
Balloon 701 retains its busy all over advert for the Palm Beach Hotel. The tram is seen here on the Cabin centre track on 1st September 2007.
Away from the grey skies of the first two photos is this one of Balloon 703 heading towards Starr Gate on 4th September 2007. The tram is in the 1980s Green & Cream livery.
