Birkenhead Tramway 2007
The Birkenhead Tramway on Merseyside is probably unique in the UK with a fleet of operational trams which operate on a purpose built "heritage tramway" from Woodside Ferry terminal to the rear of the Old Colonial pub in Taylor Street. There are two Hong Kong built, Wirral Council owned double deck trams along with several local restored trams from the first generation of trams in the region. On the next four pages we have 12 images from the tramway and museum from 30 May 2007.
