Blackpool Standard Car 159 used to be illuminated at the end of its career in Blackpool to add sparkle to the illuminations and this enabled it to survive in preservation. The tram is now the mainstay at the East Anglian Transport Museum near Lowestoft where it resides with 3 other trams including Blackpool Vambac Railcoach 11, currently being restored. The tram was captured in service during 1997.
