2006 in Pictures
On the next 18 pages are 54 photos of trams in the UK taken during the last 12 months. Some are photos of newsworthy trams - i.e. they have new all over adverts or liveries or have been through refurbishments during 2006 but some are just trams. There are six photos from Crich, Croydon, DLR, Manchester, Midland Metro, Nottingham and Sheffield with 12 coming from good old Blackpool. I hope you enjoy these images as we reach the end of another year!

Blackpool Boat 602 operating evening specials on 8 September 2006 at Pleasure Beach.
A new all over advert for 2006 was this one on Blackpool Brush 622 for Pontins. The tram is just leaving Depot on 8 September 2006.
A strange relivery in 2006 was this one on Centenary 642 which lost its Mecca Bingo blue based advert for an all over yellow plain livery, maybe an advertising contract fell through as normally a tram would just carry on in an expired advert (such as 720)? The tram is seen here on North Albert Street, Fleetwood on 5 September 2006.
