Illuminated Trams 1
The two Illuminated Trams remain in service for 2006, looking much the same as they have in previous years. With the plan to restore Western Train 733+734 apparently stalling it looks as if Trawler 633 and Frigate 736 will be doing the tour duties on their own for a while yet. By the end of the week they were having to operate backwards for part of the tour due to the Little Bispham loop being shut, however there are no photos of those movements as I didn't know that until I got back!

Trawler 633 is seen with lights on in rapidly fading light waiting to leave Hopton Road to turn onto Lytha Road and then the Prom for another nights tour duty. The date is 5 September 2006.
A few minutes later on the same date we see 633 waiting at the Lytham Road traffic lights waiting to get onto the Prom. This is of course the back view of the tram.
Working the first tour of night and heading northbound back to North Pier Frigate 736 is seen here at Pleasure Beach on 8 September 2006.
