Balloon Cars 6
The Balloons remain the mainstay of the tramway in the summer with all 2 timetabled routes scheduled to be in the hands of the trams (with a little help from the Jubilee Cars and sometimes the Twins). Of the serviceable members of the class they all made apperances out on the Prom - some more than others. In the last year there have been new all over ads for 709 (revised Sealife), 713 (Asda), 718 (Vodka Kick) and 723 (McDonalds). In addition 715 and 721 have lost their adverts but are in a plain white livery (with added grease and dirt!).

Another expired advertising contract is this one for Eclipse on Balloon 720. The tram was a regular on Cleveleys service but on this day - 3 September 2006 - the tram was on specials when caught on the loop at Pleasure Beach.
Along with sister 715, Balloon 721 lost its all over advert in favour of a all over white livery. Here it is seen at North Pier on 9 September 2006 (a cleaner than usual day!).
A rare side on shot for BRITISH TRAMS ONLINE sees Balloon 722 at Starr Gate on 4 September 2006. The tram retains its T&GWU all over advert.
