Balloon Cars 5
The Balloons remain the mainstay of the tramway in the summer with all 2 timetabled routes scheduled to be in the hands of the trams (with a little help from the Jubilee Cars and sometimes the Twins). Of the serviceable members of the class they all made apperances out on the Prom - some more than others. In the last year there have been new all over ads for 709 (revised Sealife), 713 (Asda), 718 (Vodka Kick) and 723 (McDonalds). In addition 715 and 721 have lost their adverts but are in a plain white livery (with added grease and dirt!).

Balloon 718 has lost its red all over advert for City Sightseeing for 2006 and has now received this colourful one for Vodka Kick. The tram is seen here at Pharos Street, Fleetwood on 5 September 2006 whils operating on the Fleetwood service.
Balloon 719 remains the Walls Tram despite the fact that the advertising contract is believed to be well overdue and the low seating capacity. At Cleveleys on 7 September 2006 the tram is operating on the timetabled Fleetwood service.
