Balloon Cars 4
The Balloons remain the mainstay of the tramway in the summer with all 2 timetabled routes scheduled to be in the hands of the trams (with a little help from the Jubilee Cars and sometimes the Twins). Of the serviceable members of the class they all made apperances out on the Prom - some more than others. In the last year there have been new all over ads for 709 (revised Sealife), 713 (Asda), 718 (Vodka Kick) and 723 (McDonalds). In addition 715 and 721 have lost their adverts but are in a plain white livery (with added grease and dirt!).

Balloon 712 still carries the 1960s Green & Cream livery, although now features two different shades of cream after some panel replacement following an incident with the Body Lift. The tram was caught on camera on 9 September 2006.
Balloon 713 returned to service a little after last years "Week in Blackpool" in a plain white livery but during the winter received an all over advert for Asda. The tram shows off one side of the advert here at Cabin on 3 September 2006...
...and here we see the food side of the advert at Tower on 9 September 2006.
