Balloon Cars 3
The Balloons remain the mainstay of the tramway in the summer with all 2 timetabled routes scheduled to be in the hands of the trams (with a little help from the Jubilee Cars and sometimes the Twins). Of the serviceable members of the class they all made apperances out on the Prom - some more than others. In the last year there have been new all over ads for 709 (revised Sealife), 713 (Asda), 718 (Vodka Kick) and 723 (McDonalds). In addition 715 and 721 have lost their adverts but are in a plain white livery (with added grease and dirt!).

Another shot of a tram at Bispham after the 674+684 Little Bispham incident - Balloon 709 - on 8 September 2006. The tram has a revised advert for the Sealife Centre for 2006. The tram is only running as far as Manchester Square as the tram is running approximately 30 minutes late and Blackpool Transport were trying to reform the service.
On the centre track at Tower is Balloon 710 on 3 September 2006. The tram was operating specials on this day. It retains the Purple & Yellow Metro Coastlines livery - note that no trams have this year received side adverts.
Balloon 711 at Bold Street, Blackpool on 5 September 2006 still carrying its 2005 all over advert for Lambrini.
