Balloon Cars 2
The Balloons remain the mainstay of the tramway in the summer with all 2 timetabled routes scheduled to be in the hands of the trams (with a little help from the Jubilee Cars and sometimes the Twins). Of the serviceable members of the class they all made apperances out on the Prom - some more than others. In the last year there have been new all over ads for 709 (revised Sealife), 713 (Asda), 718 (Vodka Kick) and 723 (McDonalds). In addition 715 and 721 have lost their adverts but are in a plain white livery (with added grease and dirt!).

Arriving at Cleveleys whilst having a period of time on the Fleetwood timetabled service is Balloon 703 on 7 September 2006. The tram remains in the attractive 1980s Green & Cream livery.
Working a special to Cleveleys is Open Top Balloon 706. The tram is seen here at Norbreck on 7 September 2006.
Although not a new all over advert for 2006, last year I managed not to get a photo of Balloon 707 because it spent most of the work out of service but here we see the tram at Tower on 3 September 2006. The tram of course advertises Buccaneer Bar at Coral Island.
