Gallery 500: Coronation 304 & Frigate 736 tour the tramway - 6th December 2014

On Saturday 6th December, two trams from the Blackpool heritage fleet were used for a private hire to celebrate the birthday of British Trams Online's very own Andrew Waddington. Starting with Coronation car 304, which performed a full system tour, guests later transferred onto the illuminated Frigate 736 for a rare trip to Fleetwood and back - only its second visit to the northern terminus since completion of the tramway upgrade. However, the biggest rarity of the day involved 304 which ended up being stabled at Starr Gate depot for the first time due to issues with the traffic control signals at Manchester Square! This special gallery features extensive coverage of this special tour with both trams.

All Photographs in this collection were taken by Andrew Waddington.
