Gallery 483: Electric Friday - Crich Tramway Village 12th September 2014 |
On Friday 12th September - the day before the main Electric 50 events - the Crich Tramway Village publicised a small scale event entitled Electric Friday. With three visiting trams on site the chance was taken to advertise in advance that all three would form the normal service on this day and so it was that Newcastle 114 made its passenger debut and ran alongside Blackpool & Fleetwood Box 40 and Blackpool Balloon 711 throughout the day. This collection of photos features not only photos of those three trams but also of other vehicles being shunted around the depot in preparation for the weekend events.
Photographs in this collection were taken by Ian Nightingale, Geoff Quarmby & Hazel Quarmby |
