Gallery 477: Box 40 & Friends at Crich - 3rd August 2014

On Sunday 3rd August, regular British Trams Online correspondent Andrew Waddington paid a 'surprise' visit to Crich Tramway Village, primarily to see and ride on Blackpool & Fleetwood 'Box' 40. This was the tram's third day in public service since returning to the museum from Blackpool for its first spell of operation there since 1965, as one of the main attractions celebrating fifty years of electric operation at Crich. This gallery features a variety of views showing car 40 in several unfamiliar locations, as well as the other trams in service on the day and some scenes from around the museum site.

All Photographs in this collection were taken by Andrew Waddington
