Gallery 474: Fleetwood Tram Sunday - 20th July 2014

The annual Fleetwood Tram Sunday event took place on Sunday 20th July and again heritage trams played a role in day. A heritage service operated between Fisherman's Walk and North Pier throughout the day and two other trams were used as static exhibits with Standard 147 becoming the "Tramera Obscura" and Balloon 717 saw its top deck become a botanical garden complete with knitted animals! The highlight of the day was the return of Blackpool & Fleetwood Box 40 to service after its overhaul and it was joined by Pantograph 167 and Open Top Balloon 706 in the morning before Boat 230 replaced 167 for the afternoon. This collection of photos shows all of the heritage cars used on the day alongside some of the Flexity2 cars which were also being turned at Fisherman's Walk due to the event.

All Photographs in this collection were taken by Paul Derrick
